Welcome to Necsaus ("we", "our", or "us"). We operate the platform at necsaus.com and the application at app.necsaus.com (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information — including data obtained through Google APIs and the YouTube Data API — when you use our Service.

Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with its terms, please discontinue use of the Service.

2.1 Information you provide directly:

• Account registration details (name, email address, password)
• Profile information (role, phone number)
• Content you upload (video files, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, tags)
• Communications with us (support requests, feedback)

2.2 Information collected automatically:

• Log data (IP address, browser type, referring URLs, pages visited, timestamps)
• Device information (operating system, hardware model, browser version)
• Usage data (features used, workflow stages, session duration)
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 6)

2.3 Information from Google and YouTube APIs:

When you choose to connect your Google account and grant Necsaus access to the YouTube Data API, we collect and process the following data on your behalf solely to provide the Service:

• Your YouTube channel name, channel ID, and profile picture
• Your YouTube channel statistics (subscriber count, view count) for display purposes
• Upload tokens and credentials required to publish videos to your YouTube channel
• Video metadata you provide (title, description, tags, category, privacy status, scheduled publish time)
• Upload status and responses returned by YouTube after a video is submitted

We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, Google Calendar, or any other Google service beyond the YouTube scopes you explicitly authorise.

Necsaus uses the YouTube Data API v3 provided by Google LLC. Our use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

What we use Google / YouTube data for:

• Authenticating your identity via Google OAuth 2.0
• Displaying your connected YouTube channel details within the Necsaus dashboard
• Uploading videos, thumbnails, and metadata to your YouTube channel on your explicit instruction
• Reporting upload status back to you within the Service

What we do NOT do with Google / YouTube data:

• We do not use YouTube user data for advertising or targeting purposes
• We do not sell, share, or transfer YouTube user data to third parties except as required to operate the Service (e.g., video upload API calls directed to YouTube)
• We do not allow humans to read your YouTube data unless you have given explicit permission or it is required for security or legal compliance
• We do not use YouTube user data for any purpose other than the features described in this policy

By connecting your Google account, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and acknowledge that your use of YouTube features is also governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Revoking access: You can revoke Necsaus's access to your Google account at any time by visiting your Google Account Permissions page and removing Necsaus from the list of connected apps. Revoking access will prevent Necsaus from publishing future content to YouTube on your behalf; previously uploaded content will remain on your YouTube channel.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Process video uploads and publish content to your connected YouTube channel on your instruction
• Manage your content creation workflow and team collaboration features
• Send transactional communications (account confirmations, upload status notifications)
• Respond to support requests and improve the Service
• Monitor and analyse aggregate usage patterns to fix bugs and enhance features
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, security, and technical issues
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

We will not use your data — including data obtained via Google APIs — for any purpose not described in this Privacy Policy without obtaining your explicit consent.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information or Google / YouTube user data to third parties. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: Trusted vendors who assist us in operating the Service (e.g., cloud hosting, email delivery) under strict data processing agreements and confidentiality obligations. These vendors may not use your data for their own purposes.
• YouTube / Google: When you upload content, the video file, metadata, and upload credentials are transmitted directly to YouTube's API. This transmission is governed by Google's own Privacy Policy and YouTube's Terms of Service.
• Legal Requirements: When required by applicable law, regulation, court order, or governmental authority, we may disclose information necessary to comply with such requests.
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, with advance notice to you and subject to the same privacy protections described in this policy.
• With Your Consent: For any other purpose with your explicit prior consent.

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent the Service from functioning correctly.

• Essential cookies: Required for authentication and session management
• Preference cookies: Remember settings such as dark/light mode
• Analytics cookies: Aggregate, anonymised data on how the Service is used

We do not use cookies to track you across third-party websites or for advertising.

Your data is stored on servers within secure, access-controlled environments. We implement industry-standard safeguards including:

• Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) for all data transfers
• Encrypted storage for sensitive credentials and tokens
• Role-based access controls limiting who can access your data
• Regular security reviews and vulnerability assessments

OAuth tokens used to access Google / YouTube APIs are stored encrypted and are used exclusively to perform actions you have explicitly requested. No Necsaus employee can read your raw OAuth tokens.

Despite these measures, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

We retain your personal information and associated data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specifically:

• Account data is retained until you delete your account
• YouTube OAuth tokens are deleted immediately upon revocation or account deletion
• Uploaded video files stored on Necsaus servers are retained only during active workflow stages and deleted once the upload to YouTube is confirmed complete, unless you retain them for review purposes
• Log and analytics data may be retained for up to 24 months in aggregate, anonymised form

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at sonuvairagi001@gmail.com. We will action verified deletion requests within 30 days.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
• Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Objection / Restriction: Object to or restrict certain processing activities
• Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

To revoke Necsaus's access to your Google / YouTube data specifically, visit your Google Account Permissions.

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at sonuvairagi001@gmail.com and we will promptly delete such data.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before connecting any third-party account.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the revised policy on this page with an updated "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by sending you an email notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
